Your joints connect the bones in your body and are why you can move. Healthy joints are vital for everyone. But did you know that approximately 15 million Americans suffer from severe joint pain? In this article, we will go over what causes joint pain and what you could do to reduce or eliminate the symptoms.

What Causes Joint Pain?

We need to understand what causes joint pain before we jump into the remedies. Joint damage can occur for several reasons, including sports injuries, physical use, autoimmune responses to the tissues, and a lifetime of wear and tear on articular cartilage. The most common cause of joint pain is arthritis. Older adults are especially vulnerable, and as much as 60% of the aging population suffers from joint pain. The most commonly used joints, such as your wrists, hands, hips, and knees, tend to be affected the most. However, the shoulders and feet and spinal areas of the neck and back can also be impacted.

Let’s break it down on a scientific level. The slow deterioration of your joints affects the synovial lining, ligaments, tendons, meniscus sack, bone areas, and limited stem cells that can access these tissues. Cartilage is a rubber-like substance and does not have as much direct blood supply or repair mechanisms as other soft tissues and organs of the body. Unfortunately, worn-out joint tissues do not have much ability to regenerate new cells and repair these tissues. These conditions become chronic to the suffering individual.

When the joint tissue deterioration has become inflamed with the body’s immune responses, these immune cells and their collective reactions exacerbate the problem. When joint tissue has deteriorated to the point that there is little to no joint tissue to cushion the bones, the joint can no longer function properly.

Joint Pain Symptoms - Be Aware of Warning Signs

As we mentioned earlier, it is challenging for deteriorated joint tissue to regenerate new cells. Therefore, it is essential to be aware of the symptoms of arthritis to stop it before it is too late. Aching joints could be a warning sign that your tissues are deteriorating, and you should see a doctor if:

  • The area around the joint is swollen, red, and tender.
  • The joint appears deformed.
  • Swelling of the joint occurs suddenly.
  • The joint feels stiff and immobile.

Age is the leading risk factor for arthritis, but other risk groups must be extra aware of symptoms. Other risk factors include:

  • Family history - Arthritis can run in the family, and you will be more prone to joint problems if your parents or grandparents suffer from the disorder.
  • Your Sex - Women are more likely than men to develop rheumatoid arthritis, and men are more likely to create Gout arthritis.
  • Obesity - Being overweight can lead to joint pain, especially in your knees, as your joints are stressed by carrying excess weight.
  • Previous joint injury - Previously injured people are more likely to develop arthritis in the joints that have been injured before.

How To Treat Joint Pain

As a result of the deteriorating joint tissue, you lose mobility in the joints, suffer pain, and cannot do physical activities as you once did. This becomes debilitating and depressing and prevents you from being able to function physically and enjoy life. The good news is that there are remedies available.

Replacement Surgery

One relief for deteriorated joints is replacement surgery, although it is the last resort. Most joint replacement surgeries are for knees and hips but could also be done on other joints such as ankles and shoulders. As the name suggests, during a replacement surgery an orthopedic surgeon will surgically remove the damaged joint and replace it with an artificial or prosthetic substitute.

There are several different procedures and artificial joints made of various materials. However, replacement surgeries are often costly and take a long time to recover, which is why they are only recommended if necessary. Before recommending surgery, doctors and surgeons will usually suggest that you explore other options, including:

  • Weight loss to ease the stress on the joints.
  • Physical therapy to strengthen surrounding muscles.
  • Steroid injections, like cortisone, lubricate and cushion the joint.
  • Nonsteroidal medications to reduce swelling and pain.

If your symptoms do not improve after trying these strategies, the joint may have deteriorated to a point where surgery is the only option for long-term relief.

Cell Regenerative Supplement - LAMININE

You want to avoid surgery if it’s unnecessary and save the deteriorating joints if they can be saved. As mentioned, there are nonsteroidal products on the market that could ease your pain. New studies suggest you can save your deteriorating joints through cell growth factors.

Growth factors are a group of biologically active polypeptides produced by the body that can stimulate cellular division, growth, and cell differentiation. In articular cartilage, numerous growth factors work in concert to regulate the development and homeostasis of articular cartilage throughout life.

Growth factors stimulate collagen production, one of the primary structural components of cartilage. Growth factors offer promising treatments for enhanced regeneration of cartilage in articular cartilage defects or in situations of more widespread cartilage loss, such as those that occur in osteoarthritis (OA).

Recent research is unraveling the role of growth factors in stimulating cellular division, growth, and stimulation of different types of cells in joint tissues. This has been an exciting discovery whereby researchers work with growth factors to stimulate cartilage production.

Orthopedic clinical studies have shown successful results of the joint becoming less painful and more mobile from injecting growth factors. In the study, the orthopedic surgeon used the patient’s growth factors concentrated from their blood plasma and injected them into the knee joints. Indications from the testing showed that the joint tissue became denser and showed repair and growth of the knee joint tissues. It has been discovered that the ends of the bone cells still retain the ability to grow cartilage and stimulate collagen and matrix fibers in these tissues.

Growth factors in LifePharm’s proprietary fertilized egg extract has been identified as TGF-B (transforming growth factor, beta), PDGF (Platelet-derived growth factor), and FGF2 (fibroblast growth factor 2). These growth factors are identical in structure in both the chicken and the human, similar to the use of human plasma. These growth factors have been studied for their stimulation of cellular division, growth, and differentiation in articular cartilage.

Anti-inflammatory Joint Pain Reducer - OMEGA+++

There are a few different pain relievers on the market that can mitigate joint pain, and these relievers are called nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory agents. These may relieve temporary flare-ups, but long-term use may cause upset or even bleeding to the stomach.

Certain groups should be cautious about using these products, including people with:

  • Kidney conditions
  • Liver conditions
  • Heath conditions
  • Rashes
  • High blood pressure
  • Fluid retention

The anti-inflammatory agents check the painful immune response, causing the inflammation but do not help the root cause of the deteriorating bone and cartilage tissues.

Luckily, there are more natural alternatives. OMEGA+++ is produced in a GMP-certified facility with high-quality, non-GMO, sustainably sourced, and contaminant-free Omega-3-rich fish oil. Omega-3 fatty acids have well-documented anti-inflammatory properties. Numerous studies have shown that Omega-3 consumption has slowed the development of autoimmune joint deterioration and reduced the severity of the joint condition.

Randomized clinical trials have demonstrated various clinical benefits in patients consuming quality omega-3 fatty acids with severe joint disorders. Results showed that patients had a reduction in pain, less morning stiffness, improved mobility, and less use of nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory agents.

Combine LAMININE and OMEGA+++ to Support Joint Health and Ease Pain

For optimal results, we recommend combining LAMININE with OMEGA+++ supplement. As mentioned above, OMEGA+++ supports cardiovascular, neurological, and joint health and also comes with numerous other health benefits, including:

  • Supports the circulatory system*
  • Reduces inflammation*
  • Supports memory and cognitive functions*
  • Maintains the necessary amounts of omega-3 needed to support healthy joints and bones*
  • Helps protect, rebuild, and restore the structure and functions of brain cells while shielding the brain from oxidative stress*

In an injured or osteoarthritic joint, the positive effects of any treatment, such as growth factors, may all benefit from some of these growth factors. All these tissues could be affected, and consuming these growth factors in Laminine may support repair mechanisms in these specialized joint areas.
